Hasan und Josef, Urenkel ehemaliger Sklavenkinder und Kolonialuntertanen sind frei in einem freien Land, eigentlich.
Sie verkaufen gekochte Eier für 100 tansanische Schillinge das Stück. Unermüdlich sind sie unterwegs, tagaus tagein, oft mit wenig Erfolg.
Statt zur Schule werden sie zum Eierverkauf geschickt.

Hasan and Joseph, great grandchildren of slaves, are free in a free land. They sell boiled eggs for 100 tansanian shillings each. Day in, day out, they are on the go, often without success. Instead of being sent to school they're sent to sell eggs. Poverty : the modern form of slavery.
